CONTENT CREATION / SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST / BROADCAST EVENT HIGHLIGHTS 

The FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup South Africa 2023 was the sixth edition of the event and the first one to be played outside of Europe.  As a six-a-side indoor competition made up of 24 teams (12 men's and 12 women's), the seven-day Indoor Hockey World Cup is a non-stop action international sporting event.

Ascension Agency had the opportunity to take hands with the FIH team to contribute to the content creation and social media strategy for the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup 2023. Throughout the eight-day event, we produced a whopping 100+ videos tailored for various platforms. Our involvement in the video process encompassed everything from crafting scripts and storyboards to capturing high-quality footage using both handheld and drone cameras. We meticulously edited, color graded, and packaged the content, ensuring its visual appeal. Additionally, we expertly managed the planning, copywriting, and posting of engaging content across various platforms, ensuring an active presence throughout the FIH Hockey Indoor World Cup. Collaborating closely with the broadcast team, we also had the privilege of editing and publishing captivating tournament highlights, which were showcased not only in the event archives but also on social media channels.
